Mona Morali was born in 1995 in North Rhine Westphalia, Germany. She went to art school with her mother early as a kid. Her father Willi Morali was photographing landscapes. So there were always cameras around and a darkroom in the basement of the parent’s house.  In this creative environment, she grew up to be an independent woman that loves to create new visual concepts. After she got her Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Management she decided to follow her creative path by becoming a fashion photographer.

The use of photography as an instrument for communication and expression is shown in her work. In front of the camera, people become a character that she imagined before. During the process there is a lot of free movement that should not cover typical poses too much. The results play with color and composing. Some of her new work also includes black and white photographs as her father did. The more extensive concepts deal with critical topics like equal rights, environmental protection, and other issues that she deeply researched.

Mona’s work is published by magazines like À Part Publications, Beauty Papers, Glamcult, and many more. She worked with clients like Breuninger, BMW, Puma, and others.
